About a month ago, I got a phone call from my father-in-law that went something like this:
“Do you want a free piano?”
“Does it work?”
“I think so… It’s really old, but it’s free.”
“YES! Actually I don’t even care if it works.”
He had come across an amazing piano for free, and delivered it right into my house. I didn’t have to do anything. It was VERY out of tune… as in a I don’t know if we can fix it sound. But it was SO pretty! The funny thing was, my father-in-law had NO idea that I took piano lessons for 12 years.
and dusty. and dead mice skeletons. and more dust. and more dirt. and dust and mildew. (this picture is not my house… it’s in it’s former home there.)
I have the best in-laws ever for delivering this bad boy! It’s going to be a lot of work but somehow I still see potential in it and don’t want to give up on it just yet. First thing I googled: “How do you paint a piano”. Ha!
Here are some beautiful piano projects I found that inspired me:

So what do you think.. do you think this will be worth it?? Which direction do you think I should go?
